The courtyard isn’t currently used, but I can imagine it with with shade plants and a table and chairs for outside eating, particularly in mid-summer  –  when shade is a luxury….

So rare to get outside space in one of the old village houses – so two outside spaces, one sunny, one shaded  – is a total joy.

The current owner has used the space so intelligently, the ground floor has a sitting room to the front, a kitchen area bisecting the space, and a dining area to the rear of the house. In all, we were both hugely impressed by this property, it has an ” open plan ” feel  –  yet with generous spaces clearly defined… windows are double glazed….and there is still the potential to add value by upgrading the courtyard and finishing the loft development.
