We have finally found out which house a small charming terrace belongs to!

This lovely village house with pale blue shutters is not only carefully renovated but is far, far larger than it looks at first sight and manages to be bathed in light during a great deal of the day thanks to a great deal of windows.

The location is super, in the middle of the village, yet tucked away down one of the tiny side streets and extending to another side street to the rear of the building.
You can walk to all the shops in minutes, but, opposite the Church, on a very little used road….so, best of both worlds.
The house has been really well maintained, the most recent addition is is a pellet stove installation heating the entire house. The pellet stove has been removed by the owner but that means you can now choose your own making the quirkily shaped sitting room wonderfully warm in winter.
It’s a generous house, the bedrooms are all good sizes and one of the landings is generous enough for office space or just a quiet area to enjoy a book. Note that there is a back door from the kitchen to a quiet alley where you could site a small cafe table and chairs, whilst above the terrace is small, overlooks the same alley, and accessed via the bathroom!
This is a super property and, although we admit to total bias, we have after all chosen to live in this village of Chalabre and utterly adore it.
Due to a number of factors, our dynamic and forward looking Mairie team and the sheer enthusiasm for this village of lots of different people, Chalabre can, we feel, be described as ” On the Up ” .
It’s a delightful place to live and this is a delightful house… perfect mixture….plus, and it’s a big plus, a very realistic price with up to date electrics, plumbing and practically no decoration to undertake. We recommend this property unreservedly.
